Ram Gopal Varma is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer who is regarded as one of the pioneers of new-age Indian cinema. He has mainly worked in Telugu and Hindi language films and was featured in the BBC World series Bollywood Bosses in 2004. My constant obsession with studying myself and other people is perhaps the primary motivation for me to be a filmmaker.”
