One Direction Fans Raise Money in Honour of Niall Horan's Birthday

In honour of Niall Horan’s 23rd birthday, One Direction fans have come together to raise money for charity.

As a One Direction birthday tradition, fans have decided to put their incredible hard work and kind hearts into raising awareness. Three different groups of fans have decided to raise money for causes that are important to Niall.

Irish Autism Action

1D Charity Team are raising money for Irish Autism Action. The charity raises awareness about autism and provides information on education and intervention support, advocacy, counselling, home-based support, research information and advice for families. Irish Autism Action does not receive any government funding and is therefore dependent on people’s generosity. Their goal is to create a more autism aware and friendly society to provide better support and respect for the 276,000 people in Ireland living with autism.

Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity

C4C are raising money for Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity. Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity is dedicated to brighten the lives of children living with serious and life-limiting illnesses. Today, there are 49,000 children and young people (aged 3-18) living in the United Kingdom with a serious or life-limiting illness- The charity helps these children with making their biggest wishes come true.

Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland

1D Fans Give are raising money for Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland. Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland is a charity which provides assistance dogs for children with autism and their families. The charity’s dogs provide invaluable support and have life changing effects. Each dog costs €15,000 to train. They rely on donations and fundraising and they currently have a waiting list of 400 children and families.
