There is set to be a shake up on The Voice USA’s coaching panel for season 11, as NBC has confirmed that Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys will be joining the show!
They will be replacing Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams, who will be bowing out after the current season.
Cyrus and Keys will be joining remaining coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. In a statement, Paul Telegdy, NBC’s president of alternative and late-night programming, said “The musical expertise and energy these two incredibly talented women will bring to the show is remarkable. We’re thrilled that they’ll be joining Adam and Blake in what we know will be a magical 11th season.”
It was previously confirmed that Cyrus would be making an appearance on the current tenth season as a mentor to all of the contestants. This will give her a feel of what to expect when she joins the show as a coach in the next series. Keys has already been a mentor to the contestants back in 2014 during the seventh season.
Cyrus took to Instagram to share her delight on being the newest member of the coaching panel.

Soon-to-be former coach Williams was quick to share his congratulations with the singer.
Congrats sis! Welcome to the @NBCTheVoice family ?? https://t.co/P9l6sLgusI

Although Williams and Aguilera will be leaving the show, it is possible that they might make a return in the future. Gwen Stefani, Cee-Lo Green, Shakira and Usher have all been coaches who have returned to the show at some point. Shelton and Levine are the only two coaches who have appeared on every season since the show began.
