By the end of the month, a brand new Meghan Trainor album will finally be in our hands. In the run up to its release, the songstress has treated fans to a brand new track from it called ‘Blink’.
Written by Meghan with Sigala and Steve Manovski, both of whom also produced the track, ‘Blink’ is a sassy anthem which sees the pop queen telling someone not to sleep on her and miss out on what she has to offer.
“You better not blink ’cause you don’t wanna miss this,” Meghan croons with confidence over the dubstep-inspired beat. Continuing with the self-love theme we’ve seen on some of the previously released tracks, ‘Blink’ is another motivational bop which encourages you to know your worth.
Take a listen to ‘Blink’ below.
‘Blink’ is taken from Meghan’s highly anticipated album Treat Myself, which is due for release on January 31. The songstress has already shared a number of tracks from it including ‘Wave’, ‘Workin’ On It’ and ‘Evil Twin’.
Meghan has also been busy as a coach on the new series of The Voice UK. Along with will.i.am, Olly Murs and Sir Tom Jones, she is on the lookout for the next big sensation in music.
During the auditions, we’ve also been treated to a number of golden moments from Meghan including her introducing us to her dad Gary, and her duet with Olly Murs on last night’s show.
Meghan will also be supporting Maroon 5 on their upcoming tour which begins this May. Click here for a full list of dates and remaining tickets.
‘Blink’ is available to download and stream now.
