Lady Victoria Hervey is heating up the beach in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the socialite shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while relaxing by the ocean over the winter holiday. She shared the snap via her Instagram Stories. How does the 47-year-old approach health and wellness? Celebwell rounded up some of her top lifestyle habits.
Victoria enjoys spending time outdoors and prefers burning calories al fresco. "I definitely lead a much healthier lifestyle in LA than I did in the UK," she told Daily Record. "I hate the gym but I absolutely love getting outside, whether walking up canyons or running in the streets or countryside." Going for a daily walk or hike can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.
You won't find Victoria dieting. "I don't do diets. I guess I'm quite lucky – I eat whatever I want and I just burn it off with my lifestyle and exercise," she told Daily Record. "I eat a lot of pasta, chocolate and protein-based dinners and drink a lot of champagne, but I do try to keep a balance."
One of her favorite meals to indulge in when she is back in the UK? A full English breakfast, she told Daily Record. When she is in LA, she starts the day with a banana and strawberry protein shake and a muffin.
Victoria is an avid equestrian. According to the American Heart Association, riding horses is great for your health. Not only does it boost cardiovascular health, but builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.
"I don't know how we used to do it back then. I was out a week and-a-half ago and my tolerance is really low. I'd been on a two-hour hike that day. In the evening I had two vodka tonics and was hung over the next day. Unless it is champagne, I can't really handle it," Victoria recently told The Telegraph.
