The National Enquirer this week published a deathbed photo of Bobbi Kristina Brown they have tagged “The Last Photo!” and it shows a thin, unidentifiable black woman in a hospital gown with eyes closed. Truly, it could be anyone, but very likely is the real deal since it allegedly came from either a Houston or Brown family member looking to cash in before the gravy train dried up.
What makes it all the more disturbing is that this invasive pic was likely snapped by some of the same family members who conspired to starve Bobbi Kristina Brown to death. One of Bobbi Kristina’s friends, Amber Melvisha tweeted about the decision to stop feeding the comatose Bobbi Kristina: “Kris fought so hard for three weeks with no nutrient being put in her body she held on to the very end when the people around her were just planning for her death she was still fighting. They gave her two weeks she lasted three.”
Some medical experts have issued statements that denying nutrition and liquids at the end of life is not a painful process. However, these conditions are usually associated with terminally ill patients, such as those who have cancer or catastrophic injuries, and will die with or without the nutrition. According to family updates, Bobbi Kristina was breathing on her own when she was moved from Emory University Hospital to the Peachtree Christian Hospice and was in no immediate danger of losing her life.
It was, allegedly, the decision to remove nutrition and IV fluids that directly caused her death. The fact is, unless you have been in the position to have been starved or dehydrated, you don’t know whether it’s painful. Ask a Holocaust survivor if starvation is painful. They will tell you that it is. Read the book “The Great Starvation Experiment: Ancel Keys and the Men Who Starved for Science” that describes the torment of going hungry as part of an intensive post WW-II experiment.
Starvation is not pretty. Witnesses describe Bobbi Kristina’s appearance as gaunt, overly thin and that her hair was falling out – all symptoms of starvation. And why, was she denied nutrition when she could have lived indefinitely – and possibly even woken again? The Brown family will tell you that the Houstons had 20 million reasons to cut off Bobbi Kristina’s nutrition. With Whitney Houston’s estate valued at $20 million (and growing), fast-tracking the death of Whitney’s only child allows Whitney’s mother and brothers to inherit her vast wealth sooner rather than later.
It’s sad that Bobbi Kristina Brown was raised in a manner that essentially instructed her to be a drug addict then left to wallow first in drugs and an abusive relationship and then in a cold tub of water, with teeth knocked out until her brain swelled hopelessly. And to top it all off, one of her “loved” ones snaps a picture of her in her dying hours and pockets six figures for the privilege.
Shame on all of you – shame on you for not raising Bobbi Kristina Brown better – not loving her more – and not protecting her from the same fate as her mother. Shame.
