According to a report from People Magazine, Bill Skarsgard has an 11-month-old daughter, whom he welcomed into the world late last year. And while some might consider him as the terrifying clown in Stephen King’s It, his daughter knows him only as Dad.

During an appearence on Monday night on Stephen Colbert’s late-night talk show, the 29-year-old actor confirmed he actually had a child approximately a year ago. The 55-year-old said that Bill would “never let her see this movie,” asking him again if he worries ever about his daughter watching the movie.

According to Skarsgard, over the years, he’s received a lot of “fun merch” from various companies, one of which sent him a bunch of Pennywise teddy bears. Stephen said, “you’re softening her up.”

Speaking with reporters from People Magazine previously, Skarsgard admitted he jumped at the opportunity to audition for the part of Pennywise The Clown, who eats children in Stephen King’s classic fictional town, Derry, in New England.

Skarsgard said to the outlet that was really thrilled to do a “full character transformation” from the way he actually is in real life. Bill added that while the script was changing, he managed to hammer out the part, including the way in which the clown would appear.

The first outlet to reveal the news of the actor’s baby with Alida Morberg, a 34-year-old actress, was Aftonbladet. They revealed that she and Bill had the baby on the 1st of October. Even though Bill is a big star now, not a lot is currently known about Skarsgard and Morberg.

The public has been aware of their relationship since the Spring of 2016 when they were hanging at the premiere for The Divergent Series: Allegiant.

As it was previously reported, It: Chapter 2, came out in theaters this past weekend and has performed well at the box office since its release, however, it only scored a 64% rating on Rotten Tomatoes but fared much better with audiences, who gave the movie an 80% rating.
